Lincoln University
Finance (Minor: Information Technology)

Bryanna Brown holds a 3.9 grade-point average and was one of the inaugural members of the Lincoln University’s Chi Alpha Sigma national scholar-athlete society.

“Her hard work and dedication on and off the court is unmatched,” says Lincoln basketball coach Darrell Mosely. “Bryanna suffered a season-ending injury a couple of years ago which was very devastating to her and her family. Through it all she stayed committed to academics, staying close with her team and even joined a Greek organization. It really showed her true character and how she persevered all obstacles thrown her way. She is now healthy and a starter on the women’s basketball team. She continues to lead by example and is active in the community. She will graduate this year with honors. Bryanna is a model student-athlete that is every coach’s dream to have as a part of their program.”

Brown is very involved in community service, either on her own or in conjunction with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta. She has participated in the Bethel Gospel Assembly Thanksgiving Food/Clothing Drive, Lincoln University campus clean-ups and the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast. Additionally, she has joined her DST members with winter clothing drives and a voting initiative.

Brown was a key member of the women’s basketball team that established a school record 23 wins a season ago and was ranked nationally in Division II. She was third on the team with 7.4 points and second on the team with 56 assists. Brown added 40 steals and five blocks for the Lions.
