Bowens earned her bachelor’s degree from Johnson C. Smith this year.
She is currently in graduate school, where she carries a terrific 3.5 GPA.
Character
Bowens has always remained locked in, both on and off the court. She is a competitor and often brings out the good in her teammates and peers.
Bowens understands the importance of being a team player while also playing her individual role.
Community
Bowens is a member of the Social Work Club at Johnson C. Smith.
She has also mentored elementary school students and participated in HPP.
Competition
Bowens has played for four years with the Golden Bulls.
She was recently named to the All-CIAA team in 2020 for her strong play.
